Le film tourne autour du jeu de pouvoir entre deux puissants industriels. Et sur la base du problème des pesticides en Inde en 2003, lorsque le Centre à but non lucratif de Delhi pour la science et l'environnement a publié un rapport contesté constatant des niveaux de pesticides dans les boissons gazeuses au coke et au Pepsi vendus en Inde à des niveaux 30 fois supérieurs à ceux considérés comme sûrs par la Commission économique européenne.
