Synopsis:
To attend the Dussera Mela at Jaisalmer came the four young and sturdy sons of Sagat Singh – the chief of the Karada clan Shera, Jagat, Vijay and Chhotu....... To attend the Dussera Mela at Jaisalmer came the four young and sturdy sons of Sagat Singh – the chief of the Karada clan Shera, Jagat, Vijay and Chhotu. Vijay reminds Shera that this will be a good opportunity to avenge the death of their brother by killing the son of Chowdhry of Pochina, their enemy. Shera wants his brothers not to start any fight or even have the thought of revenge during the Dussera mela, but vijay and Jagat remain determined to find the right moment to strike. At the Mela Shera notices a very beautiful girl on the giant – wheel. He is wonder struck by her charm and innocence. The name of the girl is Reshma. In the meanwhile Vijay and Jagat manoeuvre Gopal-Chowdhry’s son into an argument and the fight ensues. Chhotu the youngest brother runs to inform Shera. Vijay and Jagat are about to kill Gopal when Shera comes in between and stops his brothers from striking at the enemy. The fire of love kindless in the hearts of Reshma and Shera and they take a piedge to and this age old enemity between their clans with their love and sacrifice. Shera, against the wishes of his father ventures to go to Pochina to attend Chowdhry’s son Gopal’s wedding. He goes unarmed carrying with him a gift only. Chowdhry of Pochina does not trust Shera as he feels that there is some game behind his having come with a gift for his son. With gun in his hands he comes to Shera at point – blank – range and to his utter surprise he finds no fear on Shera’s face and this moves chowdhry to such an extent that he throws the gun off and embraces Shera-declaring the end to the age old enemity when suddenly two shots are fired killing Chowdhry and his just-married son Gopal by the scheming Sagat Singh and his sons. Shera takes an oath to destroy the killers no matter who they are. And after having done so he rides away into the deserts. The lover and the messenger of peace turns violent and killer. Reshma meets Shera and tries to persuade him to forget and forgive the killers of her father and her brother-But… Was Reshma successful in her attempt to bring Shera back to the path of love and sacrifice?
