Yeh Mera India weaves together interconnected stories to expose the deep-seated biases shaping daily life in Mumbai. The film explores religious divides when a radicalized man aborts a terror plot after witnessing a touching act of cross-cultural kindness. Communal prejudices are highlighted through a Bihari migrant facing intense regional discrimination and a Brahmin politician cynically exploiting his son's romance with a Dalit girl for political gain. Social and economic struggles unfold as a wealthy hospital administrator wrongly suspects her loyal maid of theft, only for the maid to become her unexpected savior during a crisis. Similarly, a stressed media executive wields her financial privilege to constantly belittle the working class. Finally, the film tackles gender exploitation through an arrogant businessman who uses his wealth to manipulate women until reality finally catches up with him.
