Velu, an honest villager, often clashes with the corrupt landlords Ramaiah and Parvathi, who exploit poor farmers. Tensions escalate when Velu beats their son Pazhani for lying about a debt repayment. Seeking revenge, Pazhani kidnaps and rapes Velu's sister, Valli. Refusing to let his sister suffer in disgrace, Velu vows to marry her to Pazhani.
To achieve this, Velu and Valli disguise themselves as wealthy expatriates, tricking Parvathi into arranging their marriages with Pazhani and his sister Geetha. After the wedding, their true identities are revealed. While Geetha eventually falls in love with Velu, Pazhani continues to mistreat Valli and pursues a dancer named Lalitha. Velu intervenes by posing as a wealthy Dubai Sheikh, manipulating Lalitha's greedy brother. When Lalitha's brother attempts to burn Pazhani and Valli alive to clear his path, Velu arrives in time to defeat the thugs and save them. Realizing his grave mistakes, a repentant Pazhani apologizes, and the families reunite.
