Synopsis:
A tragedy classic from A Bhim Singh, Pasamalar is the story of the strong emotional attachment of siblings played by Sivaji Ganesan and Savitri. Rajasekaran (Sivaji Ganesan) who is extremely fond of his sister Radha (Savitri), gets her married off to his colleague Anand (Gemini Ganesan). Rajasekaran marries a haughty woman (M N Rajam). In due course, Anand begins to dislike Rajasekaran who in turn becomes blind. Radha’s health fails her and finally both die in each other's arms.
