Sravan, a wealthy Indian Navy captain, lives in Sri Lanka after killing hundreds of Tamil guerillas for the IPKF. Abandoned by his mother and wife, he becomes a womanizer with psychological issues. His actions anger the LTTE, who want him dead. Sravan rapes and marries Lanka, a gypsy girl, unaware she is an LTTE operative seeking revenge.
Lanka nearly succeeds in killing him, but Sravan survives, incapacitated. Feigning care to steal his wealth, Lanka poisons Sravan and his daughter, Saya. Thinking he is dead, she attempts to flee. However, Sravan grabs her and fatally kisses her, passing the poison into her mouth. They both die, and their deaths are reported as suicide.
