Indian singer HR is arrested in Germany for the murder of TV journalist Nadia Merchant. While in custody, flashbacks reveal how HR met event organizer Khurana, his associate Ruby James, and event planner Riya Bakshi during his tour. HR and Riya fall in love, eventually earning her father’s approval.

Following his arrest, HR seeks legal help from Ruby, unaware she is secretly in love with him. Committed to Riya, HR takes Nadia’s father, former police officer Feroz, hostage and escapes. He has only one day to find the real killer before Riya is forced to marry another man. Aided by friends and an unsuspecting Ruby, HR uncovers Khurana’s financial motives to sabotage him after previous tour losses. HR confronts Khurana, records his murder confession on camera, and secures his arrest. Fully exonerated, HR happily reunites with Riya.
