Madhav and Sreenu are best friends and football players in Kolkata. Sreenu loses his leg saving Madhav from an accident, ending his career. He makes Madhav promise to keep the true cause a secret. Madhav then works hard, becoming the team captain in Sreenu's honor.
In Goa, Madhav falls for Amrutha. A misunderstanding leads to her grandfather's death, causing Amrutha to hate Madhav. Trying to help her anonymously, Madhav sends gifts. Amrutha mistakenly believes Sreenu is the sender and proposes to him. Unaware of Madhav's love, Sreenu accepts.
Sacrificing his love, Madhav decides to leave for Mumbai, faking a national team selection to ensure the wedding happens smoothly. However, Amrutha discovers Madhav was her true anonymous helper. The film ends with Amrutha and Madhav reuniting, while a satisfied Sreenu walks away.
