Carefree trucking owner Raj Mathur falls in love with Priya Chopra, an organized, wealthy fashion designer. Despite Priya being engaged to Sameer, Raj wins her heart in Greece, and they marry in Mumbai. After the wedding, financial struggles and social differences strain their relationship. When Raj discovers Priya secretly borrowed money from Sameer to help his business, he lashes out in anger and accuses her of infidelity, causing her to leave. Heartbroken and unable to live with or without him, Priya decides to return to Greece. Raj rushes to the airport to profess his love, sending his talisman onto the plane.
