Jail DVD

The movie is seen from the perspective of an upper-class finance genius Parag Manohar Dixit, who has everything going perfectly in his life and this is shown by his upscale lifestyle, beautiful, loving girlfriend, Manasi Pandit (Mugda Godse), a career which only seems to advance towards more prosperity. However, things take an unexpected turn when Parag’s roommate gets him framed in a drug racket leading to his immediate imprisonment which keeps getting stretched even without a proper trail. The story is of an ordinary man who is overburdened by the corrupt system. Through the movie, Bhandarkar is trying to tell how the prison turns a well-functioning individual into a faceless entity devoid of any hope. In the prison, Parag finds unexpected support in the form of a fellow inmate Nawaaz (Manoj Bajpai).
