Village singer Muthu wins a city contest to clear his family's debts, but returns home to find his true love, Devayani, presumed dead in a flood. Heartbroken, he relocates to the city, becomes a famous recording artist, and reluctantly marries his boss’s daughter, Roopa. However, Devayani actually survived with amnesia. Hearing Muthu's song on the radio restores her memory, and she rushes to reunite with him. Unable to break her heart, Muthu secretly marries Devayani too. He hilariously juggles a double life, faking photographs to convince everyone that "Muthu" and "Veera" are two different men. This chaotic facade finally shatters when a vengeful thief kidnaps both wives, forcing Muthu to expose his secret during the rescue. Furious, the women initially refuse to share him and storm off. A resigned Muthu returns to his village, only to happily discover both wives waiting there, ready to accept him.
