A large cache of arms is discovered on land owned by local businessman Hussein Sahib. Inspector Varma and colleague Sudhakaran investigate and trace the land's usage to Anali Bhaskaran. During a fierce fight to arrest Bhaskaran, a hand suddenly intervenes to beat him. This is Balram, a no-nonsense, arrogant DSP with unconventional investigation methods.
Under interrogation, Bhaskaran implicates Hussein Sahib's estranged son, Salim. Suddenly, the case expands rapidly, involving MLA Rani, Balram’s boss the DGP, DYSP George, a policewoman, the Chief Minister, Minister Mustafa, a journalist, and another policeman. Balram concludes the mastermind is Dubai-based smuggler Tharadas. Tharadas meets with Minister Mustafa, seeking a favor to pass a ring to his girlfriend, actress Supriya. Realizing this connection, Balram decides the only way to trap Tharadas is to arrest Supriya. As expected, Tharadas returns to Kerala to confront Balram. Ultimately, after Tharadas shoots his treacherous former ally DYSP George, witnessed by Balram, Tharadas surrenders.
