After Zamindar Rathnakumar and his wife are murdered by a vengeful enemy, their toddler daughter Radha is lost in a river. Twelve years later, Queen Rajalakshmi searches for her missing granddaughter to prevent the estate from transferring to a public trust. The deceitful Diwan Rajalingam hires Kannan, a cynical bounty hunter, to find an impostor, allowing Rajalingam to steal the wealth.
Kannan finds Valli, a tribal girl resembling Radha, and manipulates her into playing the heiress. Despite Valli's genuine love for him, Kannan remains driven by money due to past betrayals. Valli successfully fools Rajalakshmi and her courtiers. However, when Rajalingam schemes to marry Valli to his son Pratap and murders Pratap's lover Usha to silence her, Kannan’s conscience awakens. He confesses his love to Valli and attempts to escape, but Rajalingam captures him. In a final showdown, Valli is revealed to be the true Radha, saved from the river by her tribal foster parents. Rajalingam's treachery is exposed, and Rajalakshmi blesses Radha and Kannan's marriage.
