Synopsis: 
The story of Lingaa is set in a remote South Indian Village called Solaiyur, located near a dam, which is the life line for its pepole. The temple adjacent to the dam has been closed for several years & now the village head man wants to open it with the Raja or his heir who constructed the dam and the temple. Lakshmi searches for the king's heir and finds Lingaa in a for off city. She takes him to her village to perform Kumbabhishekam for the temple.
