Anmol (Rakesh Roshan) and Sunita (Lakshmi) are a happily married couple. However, Sunita has a serious heart condition and must either undergo a risky operation or live only a few more years. Her condition would worsen if she became pregnant. She becomes attached to an orphan girl, Bhavana, and wants to adopt her. But Anmol wants Sunita to recover so they can have their own children, and he is annoyed by Bhavana’s childish behavior. When Bhavana runs away, he goes after her, brings her back, and together they persuade Sunita to have the operation. Sunita recovers, Anmol and Sunita adopt Bhavana, and they all live happily ever after.
