Synopsis:
This movie resolves around the character of Viajayan (M.G.R) who plays a poor but principled man. Angered by the unfair killing of his grandfather by the forces of the king, he decides to put an end to all this atrocities by killing the king himself. While he is caught in the attempt and this should entail capital punishment, due to the king's change of mind and remorse, he then becomes the next king. He is entrusted with the duty of making the nation a democracy and caring for the princess as his sister. But as such a sudden rise to power does not go unquestioned..
