Unable to get his ailing mother treated, Bombay-based unemployed Kundan has nothing but regret when she passes away, and he pledges to help every needy person. He cannot resolve any issues without money, so he starts to gamble at a club run by Firoz Singh and also gets close to a dancer named Kate. With money coming in he assists every needy person in his neighborhood. With increasing reports of children being abducted in the city, he comes across a mysterious woman, Reena, who he met when she was disguised as a male named Dilbar Hussain, and both fall in love. Then his life will be not only be turned upside down but he will be forced to go on the run after a child named Raja, the son of Ashok, goes missing, and the police suspect him of being the kidnapper.
