Five men who jointly run an underground gambling club in Mumbai, India, decide to get involved in a highly lucrative drug deal based on a secret tip provided by Kalyan (Govind Namdeo), a corrupt police inspector. One of the five gang members, Sheshadri (Dharmendra), convinces the others to jump into the deal by explaining that the drugs can be resold for a very handsome profit.
Each of the other members involved, including Vikram (Neil Nitin Mukesh) and Shardul (Zakir Hussain), contributes one-fifth of the total amount needed to finalize the purchase. But everything goes wrong when the briefcase containing the money mysteriously disappears. What follows is a downward spiral of lies, deceit, betrayal, and death.
