Synopsis:
The story begins in the backdrop of Kumbakonam and here lives Satya (vimal), a happy go lucky young guy who believes in becoming a businessman. His father (jayaprakash) is a teacher. To achieve his dream, Satya takes loans from all sides and ends up in debts. The story takes a turn with the arrival of Selvi (sanusha) a student. Sathya gets close to Selvi and she lands up in a trouble which falls on Sathya's head. How does Sathya rescue Selvi out of the situation and his own troubles? All this forms the rest of the story.
