Synopsis:
Shaktivel (Sarath Kumar) and Palani (Vadivelu) run an electrical accessories shop in Palani. Shaktivel’s only aim in life is to help his sister Lakshmi (Rithika), become a ,209,. He meets Anjali (Namitha) and they fall in love with each other. In the mean time Shakthivel witnesses a murder by the local dada Raghavan (Vincent Asokan) but wishes to ignore it. When Raghavan threatens to kidnap Lakshmi and marry her, Shaktivel is unable to control his anger and bashes up the dada. Lakshmi opens their past to the upset Anjali. The flash back unfolds with Shaktivel, an upright military officer visiting his friend Mani (Kalabhavan Mani) on a vacation. Circumstances force them to take up the law in their hands and they start cleansing the corrupt police department. This makes them face the wrath with the local goon Naachiyar (Kota Srinivasa Rao) who eventually kills Mani. Shaktivel fulfills his friend’s last wishes to help his sister Lakshmi become an IAS officer. Coming back to the main flow of the film, the climax shows Shaktivel taking a bloody revenge on the bad guys.
