Raja and wealthy Yash Vardhan are inseparable childhood friends who share a passion for off-road racing. Raja falls for college student Rani Sharma, winning her love after a dramatic cliffside test of his devotion, unaware that Yash has also become obsessed with her. Consumed by jealousy, Yash betrays Raja at the same cliff, letting him fall to his death while a devastated Rani leaps after him, vowing they will reunite.
Years later, Yash, still unmarried, meets folk dancer Reshma and musician Raju, both uncanny doubles of Rani and Raja. As Reshma’s memories of a past life return, she realizes Yash was Raja’s killer and that she and Raju are reincarnations destined to be together. Yash tries to separate them through manipulation and violence, even killing their loved ones, but a final confrontation at the same cliff reverses fate when Raju lets Yash fall to his death, finally avenging Raja as he and Reshma unite.
