Synopsis:
Pinky (Kajol) and her beloved Atul Agnihotri decide, on the suggestion of aunt (Aruna Irani), to temporarily separate and marry according to their parent’s wishes. To divorce in a short while, to become financially viable to make a life together. Thus, Kajol marries a cop (Jackie Shroff) and Atul Agnihotri marries a bespacled Ayesha Jhulka. The film moves along events that transpire to make them realize their folly and the worth of their marital partners.
