Guru is an orphan brought up bt Gowri Anna (Nazar), a lame man. Renuka Devi (Pranathi), on an occasion, notices Guru going to the rescue of a temple priest in getting his daughter married to the man she fell in love with. Devi starts admiring him and then starts loving. Guru too gets close to the girl whom he addresses as 'computer', as she is working in a computer firm.
Everything seems to be settling well, when a new problem arises with Devi's office partners. They do not want her to marry a rowdy sheeter, as they fear the share market price of that company may fall down. Devi then tells him that she was a just a friend and never loved him. For the services he rendered to her, she deposits tel lakh rupees in his bank account. But Guru contends her move openely in a Valentines Day party, that he is in deep love with her. But the problem gets worse with the release of a goon called Bharat from jail, who starts creating trouble to Renuka and Guru. How Guru succeeds in eliminating the rogue and gets united back with his lover forms the rest.
