Madhumati, portrayed by Soundarya, is a research scholar whose thesis focuses on the study of snakes. Her professor, played by Sarath Babu, informs her about 'Naga Sastram' (the science of snakes), an ancient text written by priests centuries ago. The Naga Sastram is hidden in the Nallamala forests and protected round the clock by a snake.
Determined, Madhumati travels to the Nallamala forests to procure the text. During her quest, she encounters Swetha Nagu, a white snake that is relentlessly pursuing her to bite her. A sadhu reveals that in her past life, she killed a snake, and now that snake is seeking revenge. To protect her, he provides her with a talisman. The rest of the film follows Madhumati's struggle as she fights against Swetha Nagu and ultimately emerges victorious.
