Synopsis:
In order to fulfill the promise made tohis dying father, Mahesh, a stage artiste, uses every trick in the trade to marry his sister, Kala to a rich groom. He tries to con a prince named sunil, the son of sardar gajraj singh ghansu, by pretending to be a rich king. Mahesh's jealous friend jeevan, who takes a liking for kala, reveals the truth and the engagement breaks up. Sunil's sister appoint kala (who calls herself rekhs now) as her music teacher.
