The film centers on two childhood friends, Rakesh (played by Rajan Sippy) and Nanda (played by Vidyashree), who grow up together. The plot develops around Nanda, who comes from a poor background and works as a maid in Rakesh's wealthy household. As they grow older, Nanda develops a crush on Rakesh, forming the core of the dramatic conflict.
