Stuntman Pammal K. Sambandham and surgeon Dr. Janaki are mutual adversaries who detest the concept of marriage. Their conflict intensifies when their siblings elope, a relationship Janaki actively attempts to ruin through manipulation. Following an accident on a film set, Janaki performs life-saving surgery on Sambandham but inadvertently leaves her watch inside his stomach. To retrieve it without a lawsuit, she feigns romance to perform a second surgery, leaving Sambandham heartbroken once her deception is revealed.
However, Sambandham must marry immediately to inherit a family lodge following his grandfather's death. While he reluctantly prepares to wed a relative named Raji, Janaki realizes she has fallen in love with him after learning of his charitable intent for the property. Discovering that Raji actually loves someone else, Janaki and Sambandham help her elope. In a final twist, the former rivals reconcile and marry each other just in time to save the lodge, which Sambandham subsequently donates to an orphanage.
