Police inspector madan singh can sacrifie anything for his duty. He is in love with sushma. Arun her brother is a violent leader of mill workers. Madan marries sushma. One day arun tries to kill the mill owner. Madan shoots arun. An angry sushma walks out of his life. Sushma gives birth to a son amar. He adopts geeta. Amar friends coax him to join the anti-social elements. Madan gets transferred to the same city. Amar and madan meet. Amar is asked by sushma to hide his identity. Amar is cheated by a rich man's son and branded as a thief. He is in list of criminal wanted by police. Geeta's marriage is fixed with seth deendayal. Amar learns that deendayal is a lead character. He tries to rape geeta and gets himself killed by amar. Madan is shocked to know this. He tries to catch him but fails. Amar and madhu gets married as settle down in far away place. Later he comes to know that madan is his father. The battle of emotions can be seen in this film.
