Thavasi DVD

Thavasi, a respected village landlord, arranges his son Boopathi's marriage to Priyadarshini, rejecting villain Sankarapandi's proposal. When temple jewels are stolen, Thavasi wrongly judges Thangarasu guilty, leading to the innocent man's suicide. After a mute person is arrested for the theft, Thangarasu's mother Maragathammal questions Thavasi's judgment. To atone, Thavasi gives Boopathi to Maragathammal as her son. Despite harsh treatment, Boopathi secretly helps Thangarasu's sister and reforms his abusive brother-in-law. Before marrying Sankarapandi's daughter, Boopathi discovers the "mute" thief was faking and forces him to confess that Sankarapandi orchestrated the theft and murdered Thangarasu, staging it as suicide. Boopathi ultimately marries Priyadarshini, who becomes pregnant with twins.
