Innocent village musician Bhola travels to Bombay to earn money for his sister Belu's wedding. There, he crosses paths with his wealthy lookalike, Ranjeet, a ruthless diamond smuggler hunted by Inspector Pradhan. To create the perfect alibi, Ranjeet tricks the naive Bhola into posing as him. As Bhola navigates this dangerous deception, he falls for Leena, an undercover agent secretly working for Pradhan. Meanwhile, a displaced Belu arrives in the city and is sheltered by Pradhan. Discovering Ranjeet's true identity, Bhola rebels, but Ranjeet kidnaps Belu to blackmail Bhola into a massive diamond heist. Bhola bravely foils the robbery, leading to both lookalikes being arrested. In a tense showdown where both men claim to be the innocent villager, Belu’s loyal dog Moti identifies the real Bhola. Ranjeet is imprisoned, allowing Bhola to marry Leena and Belu to marry Inspector Pradhan.
