Description

Dharam Sankat Mein is a social satire. The religion based comedy film is about a man trying to balance his life between following two religions and all the hassles he has to face while doing so. The film revolves around a Hindu family man (Paresh Rawal) who goes through an identity crisis when he discovers he was adopted as a son in a Hindu family but was born in a Muslim family. The journey starts with finding his real father.

Film bien construit sur une idée originale. Un homme qui n’aime guère les musulmans apprend qu’il est un enfant adopté et que ses parents étaient musulmans. Le choc de cette découverte, les réflexions et les changements que cela va apporter à sa vie, tout est très bien décrit, en finesse et en douceur.

Sujet délicat particulièrement bien traité et bien joué. Le réalisateur a compris toutes les finesse de ce cas de ćonscience un peu hors norme ce qui en fait un film attachant.
