Synopsis:
The Aakhree Raasta (1986) is remake from Tamil Film Oru Kaidhiyin diary directed by Tamil director K. Bhagyaraja and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Jayaprada and so on. The story deals with David who is a trade union leader who literally worships politician Chaturvedi. When he is arrested by police, at that time his wife Mary is assaulted and killed by an influential politician. But David is framed for the crime and jailed for twenty four years and he asks his friend Mahesh to look after his son James. When he comes from jail, he discovers that his son James is named as Vijay who is now a police officer who must do his duty to uphold the law. Now he takes revenge on his wrongful conviction and Mary's death and he kill his tormentors one by one. After Several encounters between the criminal father and the Police officer son follows, what does he do to his father? Does father take revenge on his wife's death?
