Synopsis:
A laugh a minute roller coaster Bhamane Sathyabhamane is loosely based on Robbie Williams' highly successful Mrs.Doubtfire. Kamalhasan adds one more feather to his already crowded cap essaying the role of a desperate father Madan, who, after a bitter divorce from Janaki(Meena), just can't live away from their beautiful child who is now in the custody of his wife. So he disguises himself and joins Janaki's household as a maid servant Bhama Rukmini. But trouble brews as some male members of Janaki's household including her father, fall for the bewitching charms of Bhama/Madan. It becomes a tight rope walk for Madan, managing all this, his beloved child, rekindle love in Janaki and save the marriage. Heera plays a cameo. Bhamane... was later remade into Hindi as Chachi 420 and met with equal success. K.S.Ravikumar directs the film.
