Vijay (Dharmendra), a widower lives in a village along with his old mother, grown up sister Radha (Rati) and his son Vivek. Vijay is very weak with no physical powers. He is against injustice but is helpless because of his weakness. Radha is in love with young police inspector Raj(Mithun), whose sister is beautiful Paro (Anita Raj). Lala is a mean money lender. He lends some money to Vijay against his property and doesn’t want Vijay to repay, as he wants his house, so he stops the water supply to Vijay’s field. When Vijay raises his voice against it he is beaten up very badly. One day, Vijay disappears form his house and returns back under peculiar circumstances, he is a changed man now. He is surprisingly very strong and powerful. He now beats everybody. He is no longer a gentleman, he is aggressive and mean. For money he sells his sister Radha.
