A different tale, the story begins on the backdrop of a college which is in riots due to a plot by the law minister. Unable to bear this injustice, Gunasekharan (vikram) decides to strike and he chooses the minister's brother Eswaran (vamsi krishna). When the time is right, Guna strikes and takes away Eswaran who is on a parole. Things get complicated and after the parole period is over Guna sets him free. Eswaran swears to track Guna and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Subbaiah(Vimal) has joined as a conductor and the driver of this bus is Karuppu (Parthipan) who is a loud, drunk, skit-chaser with a heart of gold. Sami (Viddharth) is an unkempt looking pump operator, Poorna (Nirmala Devi) is a school teacher and then there is Kalyani (Manisha Yadav) who is in love with Subbu. The plot revolves around these characters.
