Synopsis:
If you are tired of the run-of-the-mill Bollywood stories and want to take a break, you might opt for 'Siddharth - The Prisoner'. An offbeat film, it has already won accolades at film festivals, apart from the Grand Jury Award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. However, even though the movie is based on a good concept - 'renunciation of desire', it fails to present it across with conviction. One of the biggest flaws that we encountered was that there has been no mention of why was Siddharth convicted and why did his wife leave him.
