Description

Based on a soul stirring true story of Dashrath Manjhi, a landless farmer from the lowest of low castes, in a small village of Bihar. The village was cut off from the world by a rocky mountain range. He loved his wife Phaguniya, beyond belief. One day while climbing the mountain to bring him food, his wife slipped, fell and died. Overwhelmed by grief, Dashrath decided to carve out a path through the mountain, so that no one else would suffer his fate. 22 years, all by himself, with just a hammer and chisel, he chipped away at the rocks, till a path was carved out of the mountain. An inspiring story about the triumph of human will.
