Life Partner brings forth several questions and answers related to married life. Karan (Fardeen Khan) gets into a love marriage while Bhavesh (Tusshar Kapoor) gives in to his parents’ wishes and agrees to an arranged marriage. Their friend, Jeet (Govinda), is a divorce lawyer extraordinaire who completely discards the institution of marriage. The story revolves around these friends who find themselves struggling on the marital marathon, but on different tracks. How they manage to cope up with their marital woes forms the crux of the plot of Life Partner.
