Synopsis:
Roja (Madhoo) vit depuis toujours dans un petit village tamoul. Sa sœur est sur le point de se marier avec Rishi Kumar (Arvind Swamy), un homme de la ville, informaticien de métier. Au dernier moment celui-ci refuse le mariage pour demander la main de Roja. Kumar et Roja partent ensuite habiter en ville jusqu 'au moment où Kumar est envoyé en mission dans la région du Cachemire afin de décoder des fichiers informatiques. C'est alors que des terroristes planifient son enlèvement.

The movie won almost all the awards for that year and was the best movie released in early 90's. Manirathnam who came big in this movie proved that he is the best director in India which won hundreds of awards and its A.R. REHMAN's first movie.
