Synopsis:
Sivaji is an engine driver whose mother dies due to lack of medical treatment. A maid servant takes care of him and his brother. She also dies due to lack of medical facilities leaving her daughter Vijayakumari. Sivaji vows to make his foster sister Vijayakumari a doctor. Sivaji marries Sowcar Janaki and both decide to not have a baby till Vijayakumari completes her studies. M. R. Radha is Sivaji's uncle who is slothful and wicket. S.v. Ranga Rao is the Chief mechanical engineer who admires Sivaji. A turn of events makes M. R. Radha and S. V. Ranga Rao's son inimical to Sivaji. Their conspiracy causes disruption in Vijayakumari's studies. Meantime S. S. Rajendran marries Vijayakumari. The rest of the story is about how Sivaji foils an evil ploy by M. R. Radha and Ranga Rao's son.
