Synopsis:
Thakur Durjan Singh, his brother Jagga and sister Tara unleash a wave of oppression over the village. They even murder a reformist Ranjit Singh, who organises the villagers' protest. His city-educated youngster Amar pledges to free the innocent villagers from the tyranny of the Trakurs. He defeats Jagga and forces him to commit sucide. He vows to make Jagga's sister, tara, the 'bahu' of the village. Amar falls in love with a village belle Soni and Bhavani loses his heart to Tara. On being released from prison for his misdeeds, a vengeful Durjan Singh joins hands with the dreaded Lakhan Singh to eliminate Amar. Does Durjan Singh eliminate Amar? Does Amar succeed in fulfilling his vows? Does Tara change her fiery attitude?
